Keeping a headless Chromium render fast

Warm pools, what actually dominates the budget, and why the first byte is rarely the problem.

EngineeringDraft

Metering an API in credits instead of requests

Why a render costs twice a meta scan, and how failed requests stay free without opening an abuse hole.

PracticeDraft

Crawling other people's sites politely

Robots, rate ceilings, identifying yourself honestly, and the checks we run before a crawl endpoint touches anything.

If you hit something undocumented, that is a post worth writing. Tell us which part.
